VW A3: Central Locking System Smoke Testing for Leaks | Doovi (Zachary Mason)
The central locking switch contact will be closed when door is unlocked and have a ground switched from the central locking control unit. At first the fault was not obvious at all. Central locking via remote control does not work either sporadically or permanently.
My book points to a "centre locking control module".
Has anyone got any ideas to this problem.

You have been reading too much HS at Ben's Wurld--there is no central locking control module as such-----there is a PSE unit that controls the V and P to lock.
