Ignition Won't Turn Key - Several Reason Why This Happens (Nelle Brock)
My car was working fine until I stopped and when I turned the key to start it again it turned to the start position and only all of the auxillary functions would work and the car would not even start to turn over. It turned out that the gear lever hadn't "settled" properly in the "P" slot, so the car's safety mechanisms were locking the ignition. The Key is stuck into the immobilizer and does not go all the way back in it's straight up position to remove the key.
The car will not start or act as if the key is recognized to be removed.
Turn that key to the accessory position without starting the vehicle.

Never have this problem before. but this time. the steering wheel locked so tight that it won't move a bit even I tried to jiggle more. If your steering wheel lock is engaged, youll have problems getting the key in/out without turning the wheel a little.
