The Audi "Oil Minimum" Oil Change Indicator Light -- The Audi does not have a specific Audi oil change light but it does have what is known as an oil minimum light. If you hover over the recommended oil change intervals, you will see a light that reminds you to change your oil or a message on the Multi-Media Interface (MMI). VCDS will automatically interrogate the cluster to determine what if any reset.
Turn off the ignition and restart to confirm reset is completed; OR.
The computer system tracks the engine miles from the time it was reset, and the light will trigger after a certain amount of miles add up.

I need to reset the "Service Due' light on my dash. this is not the oil change light, but the service light. You cannot reset the service indicator, only the oil service indicator, via the MMI. For reset maintenance light and that can be made manually by use button on car dashboard.
